Signed Junior Cobb 8” Wooden Tree Spirit Face Wood Hand Carved Magic Mythical. Very lovely piece, signed on the bottom. There may be pieces of the non-carved portion of this carving that have come off over the years, but the carved portion is in great shape. See pictures to understand what I mean by this. There are spots of wood that have different colors because they were not exposed to the weather and elements like the true outside of the wood was. There also appears to be a powder or dirt of some kind in the face/eyes. I leave all cleaning to the discretion of the buy to avoid damaging the item. It did seem that whatever this stuff is, it comes off very easily.
Most of the items I sell are old and used, (unless otherwise noted). Because of this, there may be and probably are small marks, defects, scratches or other issues with them. I do my best to point out any major issues and include pictures, but please understand that I can make mistakes and miss things. Also, there may be defects or issues that are not pictured or mentioned because these items are old and expected to have minor issues. What you find to be an issue might not be an issue to me, so please ask questions before bidding if you are concerned. I will do all I can to make things right when there is a problem, if you just contact me. But without communication, there is nothing I can do.
