    Carved Wood WESTERN GULL Fine Art Sculpture Signed Glenn Dobrusky.
    Rare, Hand finished chainsaw carving by Oregon Artist Glenn Dobrusky (deceased); met his demise while working in his studio creating his art.
    Dobrusky was influenced and studied in Hawaii with the famous Japanese Wood carver Paul Fujimoto.
    The work is signed and dated on the bottom.
    His work is now VERY rare – hard to find – and coveted by collectors of these amazing Sea Shore birds.
    "In a piece of wood I look for a pelican, & may find an eagle," Dobrusky said, "I keep a wood stash. Some days you feel like a duck & sometimes you don't. You have to be in the mood. If you don't have the juices flowing, it won't work. When it does, it's priceless. You can't buy that feeling, having designs bear fruit; it can disappear in a heartbeat"
