    Description

    These venerable furniture fragments from the 1600's have early 19th c. hanging mounts with bold hand-painted inventory numbers and are most likely English in origin.  Each measures app. 4 1/2" in diameter x 1" thick with hand-carved details worn by years of use and displaying minor shrinkage cracks.  They appear to be figures from classical antiquity and one may have a date? in the background.  The pieces are app. 5 1/2" tall with their added 19th c. mounts.
