    Description

    This is an adorable pink marble Rabbit Statue by Kennebec Maine artist Margaret E. Sturgis (1915-1991). The rabbit himself stands roughly 15.75" H. His wood base measures 1.75" H. He is signed on the side of one foot - Sturgis - see photo. Margaret's Mother was an artist as well - Annie Connick Sturgis. Maragaret's father was Horace Sturgis.
    The sculpture is in good condition - his wood block has cracked (he is very heavy).
