This gorgeous bronze sculpture shows a dancer – a chorus girl named "Miss Kita", captured in a moment, sharing the sublime joy of her dance. Beautiful signed figure, made of bronze, with attention to the smallest details. This sculpture by Demetre H. Chiparus is a sublime example of classical Art Nouveau sculpture. Her textured bodice, the clean and flowing lines of her skirt, and the graceful arch of her arms as she pirouettes serves as a majestic tribute to the skill of the artist.
This sculpture is entirely hand made, using the lost wax method.
The figure is m
ounted on a black marble base. This lovely piece leaves one impressed with its aesthetics and timeless design that would suitable to most interiors.
