  • Condition: Mint conditon throughout. This piece is a one of a kind. Meaning that there isn't another like it anywhere in the world. It's a fired clay sculpture (solid not a hollow sculpture). The base is all red oak. The base and the sculpture are a perfect compliment with the verigated gold undertones (many hues of gold.

    Description

    Note: The first six photos were taken with my camera flash to illuminate this sculpture. The last six photos were taken using only table lamps on either side of this sculpture.  I did this to show you how this wonderful sculpture changes throughout the course of changing light values. The flash photos are very accurate as to the color of this original sculpture.
    The artist's signature (See: back of sculpture on lower right side) appears to read: Susan Wibly. This is an elegant sculpture. It is finished in a verigated gold, with many hues of gold.  What mother or father does not see their young daughter as pure gold. Or what young husband does not see his young wife as pure gold?  Having two daughters of my own, that is my sentiment exactly. This sculpture is a beloved and beautiful creation.  It honors this young woman.  She appears not only beautiful but she is strong  Her features are lovely and her hair is long and well formed. This is a young woman who will find her place, or make her place, in this world.
    Size:  The overall height is, just a bit over 8 1/2 inches.  The width is, 6 1/2 inches. The depth is right at 4 inches (measured from nose to the back of her hair.
