Owner inherited this currency from an unmarried deceased aunt, who enjoyed collecting currency, coins and stamps throughout her lifetime. Owner has kept the item in his smoke-free, pet-free home since acquiring the currency in the late 1990s. In recent years, the owner has stored the item in a bank lock box along with other vintage currency.
Owner will ship the item promptly via USPS First Class Mail.

the Japanese planned to use these banknotes in the U.S. in place of U.S. currency following their successful invasion – but fortunately it was never needed."
